Had Sore On The Breast, Itchy And Turned Purple In Color. Popped And Pus Coming Out. What Should I Do?
I had this sore on my breast that was dark purple/black and about the size of a quarter or bigger. It was raised (like a cyst) and protruded outward through the skin. It was really itchy and very, very sore if my breast moved at all due to walking, running, etc. Well a couple days after noticing it, it "popped". It reduced in size dramatically but there is an open area about the size of two pinholes put together. There is some pus that comes out, very minimal. What should I do about this?

You consult either dermatologist or surgeon.
You are having impetigo with superficial abcess.
Take a 2 to 3 weeks course of strong antibiotics with anti inflammatory drugs.
Blood testing should be done to rule out DM,HIV,anaemia... etc.
Be calm. Do not have tension....
You will be ok...

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.
It appears from your query that you have had some sort of cyst or boil kind of thing on your breast which then popped off. You have not mentioned one important detail regrading your problem as in how many days have passed since it is popped up. It generally takes around 7-14 days to heal up from the surface. So if more than 14 days have passed or if it become larger in size again or if you feel more of pus is coming out from it then it is better to consult either a dermatologist or a surgeon for best suggestion regarding the same.
Mean while do not try to pinch, pop or squeeze the area otherwise can get infected again.
