Had Miscarriage. Done Tests On CMV. Can I Plan Pregnancy Based On Results?
Hello My name is Gulsara. in September i had miscarriage. the result of tests on CMV showed that the IgG was 1:1600 and IgM- negative. after treatment i had the test again and the result was IgG-1:800 and IgM - negative. can i plan pregnancy now. thank you very much in advance.

According to the current studies cmv is not known to cause miscarriage even if recurrent. ..though it is known to cause birth defects and congenital anomalies. ...still the results of your tests are encouraging and you can proceed with pregnancy. ..but I advise that you get other tests done also before you plan to conceive like thyroid. ..prolactin. ...antiphospholipid antibodies. ..and chromosome analysis to find out some other cause of abortion as well
