Had Major Throat Surgery, Diabetic, COPD. Does Hephren And Lasex Interact ?

Hi my Father in law is in serious shape major throat surgery one month ago now in hospital, My question is does HEPREN and lasex interact and if so when does the good outweight the bad ? He has many physical aliments but they are now questioning congestive heart faliure. He has had clots in his leg, but they put a filter in the vein .He is diabetic, advanced COPD and has cancer

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
After going through history in details,he is having multiple heath issues, Diabetes,COPD,Deep vein thrombosis,and malignancy.
I can understand your concern for his health,as far as I know there is no drug interaction between Heparin and Lasix, please do not worry and treating team of doctors will do what is best for the patient, have faith in treating doctors and remember every thing is not in control of doctors and humans.
Any one who has multiple problems treatment is quite challenging and we must always hope for best, good luck.
