Had ADHD. Gained Weight. Stopped Vyvanse, Taken CNS Stimulant. What Now?

Hello,

Is it common to gain over 30 pounds in 4 months after abruptly stopping once daily 70 Mg of Vyvanse?
I'm a 46 year old man, I'm 5'8", and I now weigh 187 pounds. prior to "abruptly" stopping the Vyvanse, which I was taking for 2 years, I weighed 150 pounds - I just started the Vyvanse again 2 weeks ago, and I'm hoping my decision to resume the Vyvanse will help me to get back to my comfortable weight of 165 pounds.

I was diagnosed 14 years ago with ADHD, and took some form of CNS stimulant for 13 years.
