Hi there for the past 5 days I have a gurgling sound in my chest/throat when in lying in bed at night I can only breath quite shallowly and not take deep breaths and I am also tired. I'm assuminmg I have some form of chest infection? do i need to see my GP and get some antibiotics or will it go of its own accord?
The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be due to: 1. Respiratory tract infections: it can be confirmed by investigations like complete blood count & X ray of chest. Management includes antibiotics under the guidance of your GP
2. Any obstruction in the respiratory tract: causes gurgling sound & difficulty in breathing. It can be detected by proper clinical examination & bronchoscopy.
