hello,
if he is getting pain or bloating like sensation, better to get operated. its very simple. done through laparoscopy. so very less surgical incisions taken.healing also good.consult a laparoscopic surgeon.

Dermatologist Dr. Tanumay Raychaudhury's  Response
Dear Fathe Singh,

If your father's symptoms are because of gall-stones, its best to go in for surgery. If they are not, he can leave it alone. To decide whether the gall stones are causing the abdominal symptoms, he needs to see an expert. Please visit your local doctors.

General & Family Physician Dr. Dr. Anand Babu M's  Response
Hi welcome to health care magic

Stone in the gallbladder is called as Cholelithiasis. If the stone is small and few in number then nothing much to worry.. but if it is more or large in size , then it must not be neglected. it may obstruct the bile duct and end in complication..
surgery is the best treatment ERCP (Endoscopic retrograde Cholelangiopancreatograrhy)
cholecystectomy are the other treatment available.
