Frequent Trembling Of Left Hand. Stress Related? Visit To The Doctor Suggested?

I am a 20 year old student who is majoring in biology and was wondering should I be concerned if my left hand trembles frequently. This will sometimes occur while I am sleeping, writing or at any given time for that matter. I know that sometimes this tremble is due to stress but should I still go see my physician about this?

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your history.

Hand tremors are one of the cardinal symptoms of performance anxiety and stress. It is usually bilateral and sometimes unilateral also.

As you have u have unilaeral hand tremors, it is adisable to go to physician to rule out other causes including thyroid dysfunction.

Thanks.
