Fluid Around Left Ovary, Discomfort While Walking, Pain. What Can Be Done?

I have fluid around my left ovary . My OB/GYN removed a cyst on this ovary two months ago. Now there s fluid around this ovary. What kind of discomfort could I be having as a result of the fluid? I m having discomfort when walking, twinges of pain with urination in the left side, and dull aches in my left side under rib cage.

hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

This fluid can be a manisfestation of rupture of ovarian cyst while removing of ovarian cyst or pelvic inflammatory disease , this fluid requires a tapping with microscopic and biochemical diagnosis for further treatment where a pelvic inflammatory disease needs antibiotic prohylaxis under OBGYN prescription whereas reactionary collection of fluid can be covered with antiinflammatory drugs both requires an analgesic coverage under the prescription of your OBGYN.

Take care!
