Hay, I m 37 years old women. Two months ago I got acid hellicobecter. Doctor gave me two antibiotics and one gastric control tablets.take 4 morning and take 4 Nighte time. One weak course. I finished this course but I can't feel better. Then doctor gave me 1 omperazole capsule a day. But I can't feel better. I got middle of the chest tow much pressure and some time I feel the food in my throat .docter asked me your stomach infection is cleard but I can't feel better.
Hello, It is quite possible that your therapy might have failed. Get a repeat urea breath test done. If H.pylori is still present,then repeat a course of antibiotic with a different set of antibiotics because H.pylori easily becomes resistant to metronidazole and clarithromycin. After therapy,again wait for one month and if you still have your symptoms ,then it could mean a resistant infection. You would require a endoscopy and biopsy with culture to check the antibiotic susceptibility of H.pylori strain and then a proper course of most appropriate antibiotic combination can be advised.
