hi and thanks for the query,
Do not worry. You are down with upper respiratory tract infection.
You have conjunctivitis hence your eyelids are swollen and you have discharge.
The eustachian tube that connects your nose and ear is clogged due to infection thereby giving you a sensation of blocked ears.
All this is probably a viral infection hence symptomatic treatment is required.
You can take a pain killer for the sore throat.
Please follow some general measures like
1) Warm salt water gargling 4 times daily.
2) Cold compress for the eyes.
3) Steam inhalation 5 times a day to unclog your ears.
4) Drink plenty of fluids.
5) Avoid cold foods and airconditioning.
6) Get plenty of rest.
If you do not feel better in the next 3 days then pay a visit to the GP. You may need a course of antibiotics, nose and eye drops.
Regards, Dr Kishori.
