My husband has what he says feels like something in the bottom of his foot but there is nothing there. As the days go by it gets more and more painful and hard to walk. What could this be?

Hi,
This could be a verruca which is a wart on the sole of his foot. In the early stages they can be difficult to see. I suggest you have a very close look at his foot to check. They are easy to treat with over-the-counter medicines.
