Severe Sharp Pain Under The Foot. Difficulty In Walking And Driving. Have Bunion. Advice?

Good afternoon, Suddenly yesterday afternoon I experienced pain deep inside the arch in my left foot heading towards the big toe (I do have a bunion ). Walking and driving a manual car is very painful. When not walking I have no pain what so ever and even forget about the painful foot until I get up and start to walk again. What are you thoughts on this?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The sudden pain that you had is likely to be related to a muscle spasm or inflammation of the great toe. You need to get your blood uric acid levels evaluated and take mild pain killers and do a hot fomentation for symptomatic relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
