Faint Pink Discharge During Ovulation. Is It Hormonal?
Hello my period started feb 25 and two days ago I wiped faint blood after urinating which is probably the time I should be ovulating or about to. This has happened before where I was confused because it was not time for my period. It s not a lot of blood it s a the tiniest bit of faint pink discharge . The times it did happen was around the same time and in the same amount. Never a lot and never bright red. I am now 43 yrs old and feel my body is changing. Could it be hormonal or something I need to worry about?
Hello,
Sometimes spotting or bleeding is observed around the time of ovulation and this is normal. As per your age, it is normal for hormonal imbalance to develop as you are entering the peri-menopausal age and as a result, such inter-menstrual spotting can be seen. Yet, such instances should not be left unattended. You should see a gynecologist for exclusion of local causes of the spotting and assessment of the hormonal status of the body and further management. Please maintain a healthy body weight, reduce stress, do some regular daily exercise and eat healthy. Take care.
