Facing Strong Heart Beats. Taking Calaptin,flupentixol And Melitracen. What Does The Findings Mean?

hi,
Iam Dinakar my age is 22, frequently facing strong heart beats..4 months back i went to a cardiologist he has done ECG and 2D ECO..He said me that everything is normal and refered me calaptin sr 120,flupentixol and melitracen tablets but still am getting the strong beats then he changed to metroprolol succinate 25,flupentixoland melitracen even then am getting the same thing...my pulse is between 60-100.. please help me how to overcome this problem..

E C G , ECHO are absolutely normal , hence there is no cause of concern.
However you have taken treatment from a cardiologist like anti anxiety type.
Now still there is STRONG HEART BEAT ( according to you as mentioned in your query).

Gentleman normal heart beat is 70- 80 / minute.

It may be 60-100 /minute, depending upon the nature and work of an individual.
Let me explain, if you are an athlete and good racer ,your heart beat will be 60 and regular ,good to palpitation.
If you are over anxious and your life id full of tension and anxiety , your heart beat would be close to 90-100 , still we will call it normal.
So when every thing is normal in test don't worry at all.
Change the nature and habit , and you will be alright.

Hi,

Anxiety can sometimes present with such palpitations. You may have to consult a Psychiatrist to get your self examined and place you on better medication.
