During Gym Felt Dizzy And Had Sick Stomach. What Could Be The Cause?
Hello,
I was at the gym yesterday and while standing to rest I felt dizzy, sick in my stomach and felt very sick. I had to sit down for about 10 min until I was able to get in my and go home. I woke up this morning fine, however I am feeling sick again and have been dizzy and nauseous for the past a few hours
Hi, Since you felt these symptoms particularly on standing,it might be due to dehydration or electrolyte losses from your body during exercise. I would recommend you to consume plenty of fluids or energy drink or lemon water with salt .Adequate hydration is must before and after excercise. Meanwhile for nausea you can take antiemetic like tab domperidone thrice daily before meals. In case symptoms persist get your blood pressure checked. hope it helps.
