Dry And Painful Cough In The Trachea That Moves Down To Breast. Medication?

Hi I have been quite up and down with a cold for about 18 days but the past few days I have a very dry cough that is painful in the trachea area and is moving down between my breast! I also have headache in which light is becoming very bright and diarrhoea and nausea and a prickly feeling in my lower back! I was taking sudafed for approx 5 days and now am trying beechems flu capsules but not really having much effect! Can you recommend anything please Fran

I think from you discription you had bronchial asthma you need to start ventolin inhaler 2puffs every 6hrs for 7days. But if still cough persist start steroid inhaler like floxitide 125mic 1puff bid for at least 1mo.
