Done Pre-vaccine Screening Test. Do I Have HBV?

Hello doctor. I have a strange result. Anti HBs titter. 5 HBs Ag ultra HBS. .01 negative Anti HBc IgG. 1.9. Negative That was the result of my pre vaccine screen. I was born 1982. Don t remember vaccination But the did HB e antibody equivocal And antigen negative. Do I have Hbv . Or need expensive pcr test

Hello,
Thanks for the post. Your results are quite explicit, you do not have either hepatitis B or C and you do not need a PCR to confirm. Serology done is sufficient. You may proceed with the vaccination at this stage.
