Donated Bone Marrow To Trust. Investigations Shows Having Granulomethis As Child. Any Action Needed?

Hi,
My son (22) recently donated bone marrow for the Anthony Nolan trust. They have told him that their investigation show that he has had granulomethis (something like that) as a child. Naturally I am alarmed but also feel that this is something we never would have known about. Should we take any action? We will notify his GP.

Thanks

Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concern. You might be trying to tell it as granulomatous bone marrow disease. There are many diseases associated with it like collagen vascular, autoimmune diseases or hodgkin's disease or histoplasmosis. Rule out other diseases and get diagnosed exactly. Hope it helped. Thank you.
