Does Yellow Bright Nasal Mucus With Dark Red Clots Indicate A Major Sinus Problem

Hi I suffer with sinuses have done for a while I have just finished my antibiotics and still have the symptoms bright yellow snot and blood with little dark red clots coming out of my nose also got a chesty cough now is it my sinuses or somethink else

I have gone through your query regarding blood mixed nasal discharge.

As you said that your nasal discharge is still persisting even after antibiotic course.Therefore now it is necessary to investigate the sinus pathology as it may be neoplastic.

To confirm it you should do-

1- C.T. Scan of paranasal sinuses.

2- Culture & Sensitivity of nasal discharge.

3- Pap stain of nasal discharge.

To make proper diagnosis thorough examination of nose and sinuses is necessary and if any growth is visible than biopsy should be taken to know the pathology behind it.
