Does Withdrawal From Vyvanse For ADHD In Children Cause Extreme Mood Swings, Impulsivity And Aggression?

I am assessing a 13 year old boy who has been diagnosed with ADHD and on Vyvanse for 1.5 years. Mom has taken him off the meds to do testing but she reports that he becomes almost "crazy" when she takes him off the meds - extreme mood swings, impulsivity, aggression. She thinks it's indication that he must have ADHD but I'm wondering if this is the withdrawal from the meds?
