Does Vomiting During Pregnancy Affect The Baby ?

Hello Doctor , I am pregnant now it is 7th week.I cant able to eat anything.If I eat any food immediately I am taking vomit.Doctor advise I am taking vomit kind tablet before food it is somewhat control the vomit.Please let me know it will affect my baby.

You should not eat anything oily or fatty or very sweet or spicy. Take bread toast with some butter or jam. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables which will reduce vomiting and also prevent constipation which happens very frequently in pregnant women in your gestational age. Drink water in sips. Take the medicine as advised by Doctor.

Hi, it is common to have nausea and vomiting in first 3 months of pregnancy.It is o.k. to take vomikind tablets, but in my opinion try not to make tablets a habit.Take tablet on the day when you really feel bad due to nausea. You should take tablet at least 20 minutes before taking food with very little water.in the morning try to eat something solid as soon as you wake up.
