Does The Frequency Of The Rash With A Mycosis Fungoids Diagnosis Indicate A Later Stage?

Does the frequency of the rash with a mycosis fungoids diagnosis indicate a later stage? My husband was recently diagnosed after a 3 month rash and although the rash disappeared it has now reappeared only 3 weeks later. We are awaiting bloodwork to begin staging the disease but I wondered if this was an indication of a later stage.

Hi, I understand your concern for your husband.

In my opinion there is no direct correlation between the frequency of rash and stage.
Instead if it is a localised rash, which has reappeared, this indicates an early stage.
But we can not rely only on the clinical findings, the picture will be clear after the work up so we need to wait for the reports.

Let us hope for the best.

Wising a good health for your husband.
