Does Space Changes At L4 L5 With Mild Right And Moderate Left Lateral Recess Narrowing Cause Worsening Pain ?

I HAD AN MRI A FEW WEEKS AGO ,,THE REPORT MENTION THAT THER IS A ADITIONAL SPACE CHANGES AT L4 L5 ,WITH MILD RIGHT AND MILD TO MODERATE LEFT LATERAL RECESS NARROWING ,,, THE PAIN THAT I HAVE IS IN THE LOWER RIGHT ,,PAIN IS THERE 24/7 SOME DAYS WORSE THAN OTHERS ...WHAT ECXACTLY THIS REPORT MEANS?PLEASE CAN YIU EXPLAIN IT BETTER TO ME,,THANKS

Hi,Dear.Welcome to HCM.
The report of your MRI is suggesting that you are suufring from a slipped disc at L4 L5 level of your backbone.The space in which this disc lies has been narrowed so the disc has come out and putting pressure on your nerves.These nerves supply your lower back and upto legs.So whenever there is pressure over nerves you will feel pain.
Now you have to 1.Do physiotherapy exercises daily.i.e. leg raising exercises,knee to chest,trunk rotations etc.
2.Always use lumbar support belt.
3.Avoid lifting heavy weight or strenous activity.
So you should not worry,do exercise daily and be happy.You will be fine.
