Does Reduction Of Thyroxin Cause Fatigue?

recent, pre med for operation, blood test. required me to reduce thyroxin to reduce from 200cmg to 150cmg,6 weeks ago. Last 2-3 weeks considerable fatigue. I have been on thyroxin for 20 years .I am a male aged 78. I also suffer from polymyalgia rheumatic requiring steroids 15 mg for 2 years reducing from 20mg.Is this the thyroxin reduction causing my fatigue

The reason for the fatigue could be due to reducing the thyroxine dose.
You can repeat TSH/FT4 now and if it is above target we can increase the dose to 175mcg..
