Does Osteopenia And Sciatic Nerve Problems Have Any Similarities?

I would like to know if Osteopenia, & Sciatic Nerve problems have any similarities? My Mother has been suffering with severe pain in her lower back, radiating down to her hip socket in her left leg down to the calf, to the ankle. I looked it up on the net & I saw a diagram of Sciatic Nerve back problems, & the diagram show the exact areas of her pain.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
Osteo penia, and sciatica are different things, but osteopenia can cause the sciatica due to the low calcium density in the bones around the nerve.
Osteopenia can lead to the osteoporosis, and may lead to the spontaneous fractures.
For sciatica, i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. She may need to have an MRI. for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and then periodically. Ofloxacin, and mefenamic acid and paracetamol.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods to avoid more of pain.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
