Hi there,

Omeprazole is a type of medication that reduces the amount of acid that the stomach produces. This is usually used in people with heartburn, or GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease). There is no interaction with hydrocodone, but I would recommend you take a stool softener, as hydrocodone does tend to make you constipated. Also, do not exceed 4 grams of acetominophen in 24 hours, so limit yourself to 8 pills over 24 hours.

I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.
