Does Norco Cause Side Effects?

I was prescribed Norco today for an arm injury. I am experiencing some generalized itching and my voice has gotten progressively hoarse since taking the first dose. I looked online about interactions and side effects. It stated that hoarseness could be an indication of anaphylaxis. I am not having any difficulty breathing. Do you recommend that I seek medical attention or is this a normal/common side effect that I should not be worried about?

I would recommend you to seek medical attention. Norco (acetaminophen/hydrocodone) can at times cause allergic reactions. The itching that you have been experiencing can be due to histamine release. I would have assessed the severity and changed over to alternatives if the itching and other symptoms are severe. Alternatives include acetaminophen/tramadol.
I hope the above information helps. Thanks.
