Question: I had three beers from 8-10 and at about 11:15 I completely forgot I had been drinking and took 5mg of ambien becuase i have been having major stress and anxiety . Should I go to the hospital?

Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

For a normal healthy women of 37 years of age with 50-60 kg weight with no other medication three standard beers are not lethal and unlikely to cause serious reaction despite taking 5 mg of ambien.

At this moment stop further drinking (if not done already) and try to vomit the unabsorbed content in stomach.

This much of action will be sufficient to save you.

After this is over visit the drug rehabilitation centres to quit it permanently.

I tried to vomit but it was a no go. I haven't had a drink since ten and will not have another drink. Will I be okay still?
