Hi,

Primolut depot contains norethisterone, a female natural hormone known as progesterone that is used in the treatment of various menstrual problems like irregular, prolonged or heavy bleeding between periods, endometriosis, ovarian cyst etc. It also helps to reduce the risk of pre term birth in women who have a history of preterm birth.

Side effects of Primolut depot are pain, swelling or itching at the site of injection administration site, lumps at the injection site, fainting, dizziness, chest pain and discomfort, raised heart beat, anxiety, redness of the skin especially on face and neck, nausea, vomiting, changes in food habits, mood swings, depression, symptoms of allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, swelling of tongue, lips, eyes, face, hands or feet, dizziness, breathing difficulties, hypotension etc. If any of these side persist for long or bother, then you should inform your doctor immediately for medical hep.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
