Hi, I am an 27 year old female and I am married for last 2 years. since then I am trying to conceive cause I was detected with an increased thyroid level and also polycystic ovary syndrome. I increased my levothyroxine dosage from 25 to 100mug. now my thyroid is very much in control. And the doctor has now given me ovelet 100mg to take from the 2nd day of the cycle. I always had my periods normal and on time. and i do have ovulution symptons like lots of liquid flow from 10 to 15 day. but then why has doctor given me that tablet? and what other factor is inhibiting my chances of pregnancy?<br>

dear friend ,yes of course its true that increased thyroid level and Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOD) affect egg formation in a woman and thus affect pregnancy . but as far as thyroid hormones are maintained within normal levels with thyroid drugs , pregnancy rates are not affected.ovelet a tablet to increase the chances of your ovulation and it is usually given to the patients of PCOD and helps in better conception rates.feel free to contact us anytime.
