Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

Medications you are currently taking : Diovan, Amlodipine are used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Metoprolol is used to treat heart failure while atorvastatin is used to treat high cholesterol level (it is a statin).

The numbness and tingling in your legs is not caused by these medications, but for another diagnosis.
As you are treating hypertension, spikes in blood pressure (bp) can also cause these symptoms. So, I'd suggest to monitor your bp and record the results.

One complication of high bp is stroke or brain hemorrhage which are clinically shown by neurological changes such as numbness and tingling.
In these cases, neurological examination by neurologist is recommended.

To answer your final question, I advise to continue taking all the meds as prescribed by your doctor. Report your symptoms of numbness and tingling to your doctor for further evaluation.

All the best.
Dr.Albana
