Does Brown Discharge Indicate Pregnancy?
Im 27 year old and mother of 2. I had unprotected sex in june 10th and ever since middle of july I had some pregnancy symptoms. At first nausia but not as bad as I did with my other kids, tired a lot, moody, tired, body ache, my breast hurt (nipples) when touched, some cramping..My last period was end of june, then I was supposed to get period at the end of july..It was late( I have history of iregular periods) and I took preg test that was negative and just 3 days ago I had some dark brown discharge with a bit of dark blood but very dark. I had it for 2 days and its gone now. Is it possible that Im pregnant?

I would like to say that prediction of ovulation is difficult with a history of irregular periods and hence, it is not possible to predict if conception may have occurred due to the unprotected intercourse. Your symptoms can occur with a very early pregnancy as well as in the premenstrual phase. Since you have a history of irregular menstrual periods, you should take the HPT at least 3 days after the expected date of your longest period. Else, you can have the assay of serum beta-hCG titres for a better clarity. The occurrence of brown discharge is suggestive of old bleeding, perhaps a breakthrough bleed. Please see a specialist for further guidance. Take care.
