Does TSH Of 4.2 Causes Gastric Troubles?

HAI, I AM 35 YRS OLD. I AM SUFFERING FROM GAS TRROUBLE(PAST 3 YRS). NOW DAYS ,SOMETIME IT GIVES CHEST PAIN. LAST MONTH I CHECKED FULL MEDICAL CHECKUP. I FOUND BLOOD TSH 4.2 . ALL OTHERS NORMAL. DOES TSH 4.2 MAKE ANY DIGESTIVE PROBLEM. AND WHAT THE SOLUTION FOR AVOIND GAS FORMATION

Hi,

The TSH level you reported, does not cause gastric problems. It is in the upper level of the normal ranges and usually does not cause symptoms at these levels, only if you are planning a pregnancy. You need to check FT4 and FT3 level too and keep under monitoring TSH, every 6 months. You need to see a gastroenterologist for the stomach problems.
