Does Microgynon 30 Cause Bloating?
i am on microgynon 30, i took the first and second pack without the 7 day break all the way through the second pack i have been bloated i decided to stop taking it and wait for the bloating to go down, but it still hasnt gone down, i have been off for about 1 and a 1/2 weeks was the bloating because i took two packs back to back? or is it just a side effect of the pill? if it is a side effect will the bloating stop as my body adjusts or will it continue as long as i take microgynon 30? also, how long will it take for my current bloating to go down while im off the pill? thankyou

Abdominal cramps and bloating is a common side effect of Microgynon. The changes in your hormone levels will cause abdominal distention and bloating.These symptoms will reduce in the subsequent cycles. Anti-foaming agents like Simethicone can be used thrice a day after food to reduce bloating.
