Does Meftal Have Side Effects For Child?
Doctor, please help me on the 2 clarifications
1. Normally for any viral fever my son ( aged 4 yrs ) is prescribed to take meftal, it really works, but just wanted to know whether this drug is advisable or does it have any serious side effect latter on.

Meftal is comparatively a safe medicine.
You can give as and when required.
Any medicine giving for long time is avoided.
It is not always advisable to go for tonsillectomy unless there is recurrence of tonsillitis, chronic infected tonsils.
Normal enlarge tonsils is not indication for surgery.
