Does Adderall Have The Side Effect Of Causing Red Itchy Rash On Neck?

I have a red bumpy itchy rash on my neck for about 3 wks. I took 2 vyvance tablets around the time it started. When I stopped vyvance it seemed to get better but started adderall 3 days ago and it's back to being really itchy bumpy and red. Could it be the medicine ?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your query and understood your concern.
It seems to me that you are allergic to amphetamines. And the rash is urticarial hive due to the allergy. Take oral antiallergics like Cetrizine / loratadine twice a day. Apply mild topical steroid like hydrocortisone mixed with moisturizer over the rash.

Consult your physician about change in drugs to some other class.

Hope I helped.
