Hello,

Having studied your ultrasound report, there are multiple fibroids. the reason mended treatment - whether it should be medications or surgery depends on your age, symptoms you are experiencing and what is important for you. If it is pain and heavy periods then trying with medications first for pain and reducing bleeding with tranexamic acid could be considered.

if fertility and ability to carry a pregnancy is important then removal of fibroids by laparascopy or open operation can be considered. Mirena intrauterine device can be considered in those who have heavy bleeding, are close to menopause and fertility is not a concern. often women in this category improve with regards to symptoms once they my attain menopause, because the female hormone that sustains the fibroids declines.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
