Diarrhoea, Feels Weak, Tingling Face And Nose. What Is The Solution?

my boyfriend is 22 years old and works as a laborer in the florida heat every day he has had diarrhea for about 2 weeks now and it is green!! also he sometimes will feel very week, i suggested he was dehydrated and have been pushing fluids but today he says he suddenly got a tingling feeling to his face and nose . can any one suggest any answers to me please!!! also he is very healthy he is 6 1 and weighs probably around 163-168lbs

Hello

Thanks for the query

Greenish coloured stools is indicative of infective diarrhea. I suggest you to approach a general physician for a stool routine to rule it out. I also advice your boyfriend the following

1. Keep him well hydrated with lots of fluids, both diarrhea and the heat would have caused severe dehydration. Tingling in the nose and face is sign of dehydration
2. Avoid caffeine, milk and milk products. Abstain from smoking and alcohol
3. Combination antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin with tinidazole twice daily for 5 days would be an ideal antibiotic for him, it can be started after sending the stool routine
