Diarrhoea, Blockage, Bowel Troubles, Cramps And Flatulence, Tried Suppositories And Enema

I have had bowel troubles since last Tuesday. It started with diarrhoea for a day or so and then by Wednesday evening felt like a blockage which couldn t be passed. Lots of cramps and flatulence associated with that but I would frequently have to run to the toilet and deliver a small amount of yucky splatter. I tried suppositories on Friday and then on Saturday also an enema in a tube but nothing seemed to clear the blockage. By Sunday though things seemed to be ok again and I passed a normal stool twice that day. This week though my stomach has been gurgling again and I have been passing strange smelling splattery stools , although again feel like I have a large blockage inside. Any advice appreciated.

Hi, Welcome to HCM.

Your stomach can give you a lot of trouble which can be really frustrating. However, i appreaciate you being cautious about it and looking for a solution. This condition of "Stool Blockage" can be caused when there is a block in the colon due to some foods collecting in the excretory system. Most common causes include dehydration, lack of fiber, lack of activity etc. Consume a lot of fluids throughout the day. Also include a lot of fruits, green leafy vegetables, other vegetables and whole fiber which will aid in bowel movement thus avoiding blockage. Also, sufficient exercise of activity is needed for the body to perform its functions. Also, during stool blockage, avoid dairy products as much as possible as they might worsen the condition. If the situation still persists, kindly consult a doctor.

Good luck!!!
