Diagnostic Report APB:42,Atrial Couplets:4 & VPB:17,855

I had a Holter on for 72 hours. When the diagnostic report came in it said : APB: 42 Atrial Couplets:4 VPB: 17,855 Can it be that in 3 days I had almost eighteen thousand ventricular premature beats? Is this dangerous? I m 57 and female and am on beta blockers.( and still got the above results) . Your thoughts?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Respected Sir/ Madam
Thanks for writing to us.
Yes this may be a possibility. There are other possibilities too including an incorrect interpretation of rhythm by computer. The value of VPCs is dependent upon the symptoms and the underlying cardiac condition. Mostly they are not dangerous on their own when not associated with underlying structural or electric heart disease. You must discuss the possible avoidable cause of VPBs or VPCs in your case with your cardiologist.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
