Diagnosed With Hypothyroidism. Is It Dangerous? Treatment?
Hi i just recently came from india to Ca.there i checked the thyriod test for simply it was only intial stage 10.1 something and here i checked thyriod test my blood reports came nd doctor said it increased to 70 hypothyriod with in 2 months.is there any dangerous to worry.im worrying like a hell.please help me.im rekha
Hi thanks for your question on HCM,you have been diagnosed as hypothyroidism,there is nothing to worry,you have to get replacement for you thyroid hormone all you have to do is take a tablet of thyroid hormone called as thyroxine ( to begain with 100mg,which can be reduced latter on depending on your thyroid response) daily for rest of your life,it is not going to cause you any problem
