In addition she has pneumonia. Moreover, she had a mild heart attack a week and 4 days ago, is still dizzy and weak, her left eye has also narrowed and "collapsed" somewhat. Hi thanks for writing to H.C.M. Grovers disease is characterised by paupulopustular rash over chest and mid back.Other name for disease is transeint achntholytic dermatosis. As name suggests it is transeint ,it usually lasts for 6 to 12 months. The exact cause of Grover's disease is unknown. Suspected triggers of disease activity include heat and sweating, sunlight, and adverse reaction to medications as well as ionizing irradiation, end-stage renal disease/hemodialysis, and mechanical irritation or prolonged bed rest.Rule out any of factors is present in her. There are number of treatment options ,and oral prednisolone has not much role in it.You can concert your doctor for it.Ask her to remain free from sweat and moisture.Use cold sponging and antisweat powder.Phototherapy gives good results without much side effects and you can go for it.Other systemic problems are not related to Grovers disease and they may be her age related problem.I hope this can solve your Query .Take care.
