Diagnosed As Ileal Ulcer After Colonoscopy. Prescribed Normaxin, Fiber. Time To Cure?

Hi Doctor,
I had diahearria for 2 weeks, got a colonscopy done - doctor says ileal ulcer.
Biopsy says -
MICROSCOPY:
Section shows mucosa with focal cryptitis. Laminapropria reveal increased in lymphocyte infiltrate. Lymphoid follicules are seen.
No evidence of granuloma / malignancy in the tissue studied.
IMPRESSION: Chronic Inflammatory Pathology.
MANTOUX TEST
ERYTHREMA : PRESENT
INDURATION : NIL

Doctor has prescribed Normaxin and a fiber
Can you please tell me whats the issue and how long does it take tio cure this ?

Hello,
From your complaints I understand that you are suffering from Colitis commonly called as Microscopic Colitis (MC) - it can be colitis, entero colitis or
enteritis. It can be associated with a variety of autoimmune conditions. Rarely Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) may be preset.
Normaxin can be used for IBS or any Gastro intestinal-problems.
The symptoms of MC may respond to steroids given to treat the associated autoimmune disease. Consult your Dr to rule out auto immune disease and get treated accordingly
