Diabetic. Have Had Stomach Discomfort And Pain. Cannot Go Without Food For Long. Suggest?

Since early Saturday morning I have had stomach discomfort. It is worse in the early morning. The pain sort of comes in waves. It is not constant. I am not even sure of how to describe it. This morning I felt like vomiting but it didn't happen. I'm really worried on what this is. Today I ate only soft food. I am Type 2 diabetic and cannot go without food for long.

hi,
it is something not related to diabetes, probably you are having gastritis, take antacids and see probably symptoms will come down. also take food in time and try eating early in morning

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Stomach discomfort may be due to many causes. May be due to diabetes, drugs or other cause. Use soft food, drink plenty of fluid, fibrous diet. Take Tab Metoclopramide and avoid alcohol. This may help you. If you can tell your sugar and HbA1c values and drugs taking then we can discuss on adjustment of dose or drugs. Consult your doctor for examination and management.
