Developed Rash On Abdomen, Very Painful Itch. What Should I Do?

Last winter I developed a rash on my abdomen only, very painful itch . When I went to the Doc he assumed it was a skin yeast and gave me a prescription and hydrocortisone and it went away. A few months later it was back, and I visited a different Doc and we got it to go away. Now it s back. It only affects my stomach. I also have had neck problems for over a year which I assumed was an old neck injury and sleeping wrong. My chiropractor told me I have an enlarged lymph node on my neck (right side) and that was 4 weeks ago and it s still causing problems. Could these problems be related? I also wonder at times if I have some gallbladder issues I need to get checked out.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Repeated fungal infection on a particular region is most probably due to lack or personal hygiene. In your case, fungal infection on abdomen could be occurring due to tight clothes which can cause increased sweating in those regions allowing the fungi to grow easily. Lymph nodes in neck are not related to the fungal infection.
Avoid tight clothes, keep those areas clean and dry.
Gall bladder problems usually present with abdominal pain which radiates to shoulder, pain increases after meals, nausea and fever.
If you have any of these symptoms please get in touch with a gastroenterologist for examination.
Thanks.
