Depression, anxiety, disturbed sleep, fatigue, appetite change, unable to concentrate. Will medicine resolve the problem?

Sir My wife suffering some problem depression and symptoms of depressive illness , including anxiety, loss of interest in usual activities, disturbed sleep, change in appetite, fatigue , feelings of worthlessness or guilt, difficulty thinking or concentrating, and recurrent thoughts of suicide . Thanks for your query. I understand your concern with your wife's depressive symtoms. The medications suggested : nexito is escitaopram, an antidepressant of SSRI class; Lamitor is lamotrigine, an anti-depressant mood stabiliser; modalert is modafinil, a psychostimulant and petril is clonazepam, a sedative. These are standard drugs prescribed for depression. You need to ensure she is compliant to these drugs. Wish her speedy recovery !
