Delayed Periods, Symptoms Of Pregnancy. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. Any Future Problem If Possible Pregnancy Is Terminated?

Hi Doctor,
me and my wife had unprotected sex.Now she is late on her periods(4 days).She is feeling pregnancy but she told me that she is not mentally prepared rightnow.Is there any future pregnancy complications if we will go for termination of this early and first pregnancy.is it safe for future baby? what you suggest?

Thanks for your query.
Ideally a first pregnancy should not be terminated.
An abortion would not affect your future child.
However, at times, complications like adhesions, infections, damage to the uterus or tubes might occur.
If, at any point of time, you ARE planning a family, I strongly ask you to consider continuing this pregnancy
By the way, before so much speculation, please CONFIRM a pregnancy.
