Hi.
Thanks for asking in Healthcare Magic.
Sometimes, the
implantation bleeding is mistaken for regular period. Implantation bleeding occurs when the fertilized ovum gets implanted or attached to the uterine wall. This is a sign of pregnancy. Implantation bleeding will be lighter than the regular period, lasting for about a day or two and is usually a light brown discharge.
If you are not following any
contraceptive method and are having an un protected sex, then the chances of pregnancy are more. If you had been lactating your son, then the ovulation may be delayed as prolactin, the hormone helpful in
lactation inhibits ovulation and pregnancy. So the initial few cycles would have been anovulatory but later you would have got regular ovulatory cycles. So please rule out pregnancy.
On the other hand if you are following some contraceptive method then this brown discharge can indicate
vaginal infection if the bleeding is continuous or if you have
severe pain or fever in which case you should consult your treating Dr. Clomid will not result in brown discharge after 2 years.
I hope this is useful to you.
