Dark Brownish Discharge, On Pill. Had Unprotected Sex Few Days Back. Pregnant?

Hi I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend about 4-7 days ago. Unfortunately he didn't pull out in time and some was released inside me. I am on the pill (tri-sprintec) but I am noticing that I have this dark brownish discharge. I still take the birth control pills. My period should be in a week according to my pill calender. Should I be worried? Am I pregnant? What should I do? I'm a little embarrassed to see a gynecologist since I've never been to one and I just turned 20...

hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.Dont panic, you must always have sex with contraceptives, that is safe. You must visit a gynaecologist, she can help you to the best after examination.Even if you are pregnant you will not understand in 7 days time. Brown discharge does not suggest pregnancy. You need to worry only after your periods delay, not until then.So dont worry and take care next time.Dont take any pills without drs supervision.Wish you a healthy day ahead.Thanks.
