Dark Brown Spot On Glans Penis, Paleness, Mildly Raised. Worry?

Hi Doctor! I am from India and work on ships. Almost a year back I noticed a dark brownish spot on my glans penis which appeared pale but over the time it grew dark brown. It also is almost flat but very mildly raised than the surface of the skin. After few months another one appeared the same way just next to it. I am a little worried about the condition.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Appearance of dark colored patch on any part of the body is alarming.
dark color patch on the glans can be due to proliferation of melanocytes in the basal layer of the skin/mucosa.
You need to consult a dermatologist for clinical examination and relevant investigations.
A biopsy may be required to look for evidence of any malignant process.

Thanks and take care
